DVD Issues Newsletter
October 19, 2004
I have recently made a lot of changes to the site
and wanted to explain what brought about the differences. For quite a while
there I had DVD X Copy Platinum listed at the top along with DVD X Copy Xpress,
and DVD Cloner, but I have made some shifts in the order as of late, bringing in
1Click
DVD Copy above all of the others. I just wanted to explain as to why.
I was contacted by Gregory with LG Software
Innovations to really give 1Click DVD Copy software a try and to compare it
against the others. I have to be honest, up until then I really hadn't
considered it that much because the ones listed above were just always heads
above all of the others. Well I gave it a try and here's the results.
- 1 Click and Copy
- Very Fast - Faster than any other.
- Simple and easy to understand interface.
- The quality is the best I've seen.
- Supported every DVD burner we have.
- The first to support Dual Layer DVD Burning.
- Copy the
entire DVD or just the movie itself without all of the previews and extras.
The only thing that I didn't like at first was
that it doesn't include the dvd decrypter within the program itself which
enables you to copy css encrypted and copyright movies. But here's how it works
- The first time decryption support is needed, 1Click DVD Copy will display a
help screen and link for you to optionally install a free decryptor. If you
install it, the use of the decryptor is automatic and fully integrated. After
the one-time 2 minute install, the software behaved as if the decryptor were
built-in. Many believe that this approach may be wise since a competitor, 321
Studios, was legally ordered to remove the built-in decryption from their
products. After that I was able to copy any movie, including css encrypted and
copyright DVDs. You can also get the free decrypter here www.dvd43.com.
Gregory (LG Software Innovations) also stated
that what their company really strives to do is offer the best support
available. He stated that with so many competitors to contend with, one thing
that really sets his company apart from the rest is the support. He's right, so
many companies sell you the software, and forget about you. I have found Gregory
to keep his word. The company offers great support always responding very
quickly and very courteously.
Well, to sum it up, 1Click DVD Copy impressed me
so much that it is now my 1st choice. Read my complete 1Click DVD Copy review.
